Adolescent Sexual Orientation, Health, and Resilience

Stephen is involved in a multi-year study using the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health (Add Health) to study adolescent sexual orientation, health risk, and the development of competence. He recently was awarded a William T. Grant Foundation Faculty Scholars Awardto support this research ($300,000 over 5 years). In fall 2000 he received the Wayne F. Placek Awardfrom the American Psychological Foundation for his work in this area ($16,000).
