The 4-H Center for Youth Development (CYD) fosters collaborations
among University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) youth development
professionals and UC campus-based scientists for research and evaluation
that deepen understandings of youth in the contexts of their families
and communities.
On this site you will find research-based publications that extend knowledge
of children, youth, families and communities, as well as communication
and skill-building sources for applied research and program evaluation.
The 4-H Center for Youth Development is the research center that supports
the University of California 4-H Youth
Development Program , which engages youth in reaching their fullest
potential while advancing the field of youth development.
The 4-H CYD's publications, including Update, Monograph (CYD Focus), RYMHM, CYD Report, and Fountain of Youth Facts, are distributed electronically via email and this web site.
